Krka, also refferd to as „Plitvice little sis“, popularity wise of course (NP Krka spreds on 109 square kilometers), is one of the brightest pearls of Dalmatia. River Krka flows through a 75 km long canyon, flows through Prokljansko Lake, and flows into the Šibenik Bay.
Skradin, Lozovac, Roški Waterfall, Puljane and Kistanje are names of 5 (officiall) entrences to 7 Krka gems (waterfalls) - Bilušića buk, Brljan, Manojlovac, Rošnjak, Miljacka slap, Roški slap i Skradinski buk. The last one is the most popular among tourist, with 2 hour long walking trail lined with wooden boards. It is estimated, because of its limestone underground, up to 500,000 liters of water roars through Krka waterfalls.
There are about thirty-three species with more than 1900 individual waterfowls. Most birds are in the area of Visovac Lake, where is the islet of Visovac with a Franciscan monastery and Church that dates from the 15th century. Collection of historical church vestments, utensils and a rich library with several valuable books and incunabulas are kept there safe by members of Franciscan order.

The renovated mills (you can see how were people using power of the Krka area, to work day to day in the fields); the remains of a Roman military camp and settlement Burnum; Oziđana cave where man lived from 5,000 to 1,500 years old.
